    Following the launch, Google quickly began indexing the pages of the new website alongside those from the old website. So when you checked site:juliasherbalhealth.co.nz in Google, you would see over 80 pages indexed when the new website only has about 40.

    This is normal with redesigned websites. In time, the old pages will drop off Google's index as Google follows the 301 redirects to their corresponding pages on the new website.

    Now, as is customary for each website we launch, we monitor local search results for a number of relevant keywords / keyphrases. In the case of Julia's website, we are looking at its performance across Blenheim, across Marlborough and, in a few cases, across the entire country.

    It's been about 2 weeks since the new website went live. It is currently ranking on page 1 for over 75 keywords and holding on in position #1 for quite a few of them! In many cases, 2 or more pages of the website are showing up on page 1 for various search terms.

     

    4-MONTH UPDATE: As the images below show, the website is performing extremely well in local Google Search. In almost all cases, it is on page 1, sitting mostly in position #1. Very often, you'll find 2 or more pages showing up for the search terms.

    In addition, our client has reported that she has seen a 30% increase in business since the new website went live!
