Since Marlborough Classic & Customs Restorations has had a website since 2008, Google was already familiar with the domain name classicandcustom.co.nz and the pages of the old website were already in Google's index.

Within hours of launching the new website and sending an update to Google about it, the new pages began to show up in the search results. Over the next few days, the new images began to appear in Google's Image Search.

In addition, the website were ranking on page 1 for many local search terms.

The image below shows that within one month of going live, the website was holding steady at position #1 for almost all of the local keywords we were monitoring.

6-MONTH UPDATE: locally, the website is dominating search results for its main keywords - sitting nicely at position #1 in most cases.

More importantly for our client is the fact that the website is also doing well in nationwide search results. It is on the first page of Google SERPs for relevant restoration-related keywords, including:

• automotive restoration
• vehicle restoration
• classic car restoration
• custom car restoration
• vintage car restoration
