After launching Parkland's new website, when we checked to see if the new pages and images had been indexed by Google, we discovered that the OLD website had been hacked!

The image below shows what we saw in Google's image search results. Hundreds of images showing up that did NOT belong to our client's website.

When we logged into our client's Google Webmaster account, we saw that Google had applied partial manual action because the site had been hacked. This was negatively affecting their Google rankings.

As a result, the new website was NOT showing up on page 1!

So, on behalf of our client, we submitted a Review Request to Google explaining that a new website had been built which was now sitting on more secure web hosting.

We also submitted the new sitemap and used the "Fetch as Google" feature to notify Google of the new web pages. A few days later, Parklands' search rankings began to improve! The new website was now showing up on page 1 for 10 of the 14 keywords we were monitoring.

The screenshot below was taken on 19th October, 2018 - 17 DAYS after the new website went live. I've open the expanded view of the top ten keywords. Check out the section called "Previous Results". Notice the jumps in rankings from the 16th / 17th October to 17th / 18th.

In some cases, the website jumped from page 6 or page 8 to page 1!
