The remainder of the website creation costs are paid off over time through automated monthly payments.

During the payoff period, while you are making monthly installment payments on the balance owed for creating the website, you get to use the website as your own.

Once you have paid off the website creation costs (either before OR by the end of the payoff period), the website will become fully yours.

At that point, you have 2 choices:

2. move your website to your own hosting account and manage it yourself,

In many ways, having a website is similar to owning a house or a car.

To purchase a house or car, if you can afford it, you could pay for it in full upfront. Alternatively, you could purchase the house or car with help from a bank, credit union or other lending agency.

In this case, you pay a downpayment to the lending agency and they purchase the house or car on your behalf. You get to use it as your own while you pay off the balance owed over time. However, the house or car is NOT yours until all payments have been made. Then you get the deed to the house or title to the car and you own it free and clear!

• spending their own money to pay for the house or car,
• allowing you to take many months to pay them back, and
• letting you use it in the mean time.

Now, in creating your website, we have to pay various people for the work they do. In the case of our Rent-to-Own Marketing Websites, we end up paying with our own money to get the website built for you. Then we allow you to use it as your own while you pay off the website creation costs.

So, by offering the Rent-to-Own payment option, we take on similar risks to a lending agency. To lessen these risks, we require that:

1. the website must be hosted by us for the duration of the payment period,
2. interest is added to the website creation base price, and
3. the monthly payments must be automatically processed.
